Mabira Forest is a protected rainforest area covering about 300Km2 in Buikwe district between Lugazi and Jinja, Uganda. The forest is home to many endangered species but has suffered from human encroachment. As part of their 20th anniversary celebrations, D&S Uganda organised a very

successful tree planting exercise as a contribution towards restoration of the forest.
